Marcelo will equal Juanito's appearances against Barcelona
The left-back will play his 401st game for Real Madrid; he is already in the club's top 20 ranking for appearances. He debuted aged 18 in 2007.
Marcelo shared his joy at reaching 400 games defending the Real Madrid shirt with the fans on Wednesday. “What a great feeling waking up as a Madrid player. It's priceless”, he wrote on his Instagram. He is already among the top 20 players to have made the most appearances for Real Madrid. In tomorrow's Clásico against Barcelona he will equal the number of games played by club legend Juanito, 401.
Marcelo's market value has increased fivefold
