Kevin-Prince Boateng signs long-term deal at Las Palmas
The Ghana international has extended his contract at the Estadio Gran Canaria up to 2020 despite question marks over who will manage the side next year.
Kevin-Prince Boateng has agreed to a contract extension at UD Las Palmas that will see the former Milan striker remain at the club until 2020.
Boateng marries genius with graft in Las Palmas
Boateng arrived in the Canary Islands to some fanfare after mixed spells at the San Siro and Schalke, but also to concerns about his temperament after some run-ins with his previous employers. However, Boateng appears to have found his place at Las Palmas and has been a model professional on and off the pitch in his debut season in LaLiga, showing flashes of genius as when he finished a glorious team move for a goal against Villarreal and scored the third in a 3-3 draw with Real Madrid.
In total Boateng has found the net 10 times and provided five assists in LaLiga, leading the board at the Estadio Gran Canaria to offer the 30-year-old a three-year deal to lead the side on the pitch in the post-Quique Setién era.
