Colombia national team captain James Rodriguez scored a lovely goal on Tuesday night against African side Cameroon and Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane felt the wrath of fans of the player who appears to be surplus to requirements at the Champions League winners.

Instagram abuse for Zidane after James goal

Just a few days ago we shared with you the beautiful image that the French manager had posted while having a break in Italy with his wife, Véronique. That post on Instagram, though, was used as the forum for supporters of the number 10 to voice their frustrations. Insults and abuse rained in on Zidane page, suggesting that the goal was in some way justification for the player to remain in the Spanish capital.

Litttle Madrid pitch time signals James exit

Although there are few people who expect the Colombian to stay with Los Blancos, as yet no move has been confirmed. After only playing 1,824 minutes across 22 in LaLiga, six in the Champions League, three in the Copa del Rey and one each in the Club World Cup and European Super Cup, the signs seem clear. Only Kiko Casilla, Pepe, Mariano and Coentrao played less.
