Real Madrid confirm Theo Hernández transfer
Both of the Madrid clubs confirmed the transfer of Theo to Real Madrid through official statements on their web pages. He joins on a six-year deal.
Theo Hernández is now officially a Real Madrid player. Both the club he has just joined, and the one he has left, Atlético de Madrid, confirmed the transfer by releasing statements on their respective web sites late on Wednesday afternoon.
Theo Hernández handed six-year contract by Real Madrid
According to the statement issued by Real Madrid, Theo Hernández will sign a six-year contract with the club. Details of the transfer have not been disclosed by either club but AS understands that the agreed fee was 30 million euros - six more than what was stipulated in his buy-out clause. Theo will undergo a medical revision at the Sanitas-La Moraleja Clinic on Monday 10 July before signing his contract and being formally presented at the Santiago Bernabéu VIP lounge at 19:30 CEST.
