Sevilla goalkeeper David Soria, who was forced to retire from last night's home meeting with  Espanyol after just two minutes, faces approximately two weeks on the sides after dislocating a finger on his left hand, the club's medica services confirmed today.

Soria to miss Champions League Play-Off return leg

Soria, who started yesterday's LaLiga opener after being on the bench for Wednesday's Champions League Play-Off first leg against Başakşehir, will miss the return leg of that tie and Sevilla's next league match against Getafe.

Midfielder Éver Banega will also miss the Getafe trip after being sent off in last night's 1-1 draw for dissent. Banega faces a minimum of a one-match ban for his verbal tirade at the ref. Meanwhile French right-back Sebastien Cochia ended the Espanyol game with bruising to his righ calf muscle and is doubtful for Tuesday's return leg against Başakşehir.
