El Larguero: Di María asks Emery to facilitate Barça switch
PSG's Argentinian winger is keen to play alongside fellow Argentine Leo Messi, with Barcelona lining up a third offer, provided the Coutinho move falls through.

Ángel di María is keen on a move to the Camp Nou to play alongside long-time friend Leo Messi. According to El Larguero, the winger has asked the permission of PSG coach Unai Emery to leave for Barcelona in a move that would see him go up against his former club Real Madrid in La Liga.
Rejected offers
El Larguero reported that PSG have already rejected two offers for the Argentine, the first a 25-million-euro offer, followed by an increased 30 million bid, deemed too low by the Paris club. Barcelona are now reportedly lining up a third bid.

Nevertheless, the priority for Los Azulgranas remains Phillipe Coutinho, and Liverpool's Brazilian star could cost the club 160 million euros. Should a deal finally get pushed through, Valverde's side would no longer need reinforcements in the vacant position and the money would take up a large chunk of their transfer budget. Therefore, if the deal breaks down, Barcelona will table a third bid for Di María, with André Gomes also thrown into the bargain.
