Madonna moves to Lisbon as son joins Benfica youth system
The singer has confirmed a move to the Portuguese capital anxious to see the progression of her son David as he signs with Benfica.

With the news last June that David Banda, Madonna's son impressed in training with Benfica, the singer has confirmed a move to the Portuguese capital with the 59 year old confirming the news via her Instagram account
The move seems to have gone down well with the global superstar claiming that "the energy of Portugal is so inspiring feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!! This will be the next chapter in my book.
Sintra mansion
Madonna will live in Sintra, some 25 km from the centre of Lisbon after purchasing a mansion for 7.5 million euro.and will keep a keen eye on son David as he trains at Benfica's Centro de Seixal del Benfica training centre.
Madonna herself has developed a passion for the Lisbon side posting pictures on her social media accounts wearing the famous red Benfica shirt and posing at the Estádio da Luz.
