Timo Werner admits dreams of playing with Manchester United

The RB Leipzig striker admits he dreamt of playing with the Premier League giants with Alex Ferguson at the helm when he was a youngster.

Timo Werner, the RB Leipzig striker, who has been linked to Real Madrid among others, has spoken to Sky Sports and says he dreamt of playing for Manchester United as a kid growing up in Germany.

"As a kid, you dream about playing for the big clubs. In my case, I dreamt about playing for Manchester United under Alex Ferguson, because they were always winning. Kids are always fans of the teams that win," he said.

He continued, "We want to win some titles here. I don't know if it will be with Leipzig, but this year the options for winning are good." 

The 21-year-old has a contract with the Bundesliga side until 2020 but it garnering interest from all over Europe. He has a World Cup in the summer where he can add some teams to his list of admirers.
