Cüneyt Çakir to officiate Tottenham-Real Madrid UCL tie
The Turkish match official will oversee a Real Madrid game for the eighth time in his carrear. He was in charge for last season's semi-final defeat to Atléti at the Calderon.
UEFA have confirmed the match officials for all Wednesday Champions League games as we enter match-day f of the competition.
Cüneyt Çakir has been assigned to referee the Tottenham vs. Real Madrid clash at Wembley stadium with the game set to be his eight time in charge of the men from the Bernabeu.
Twice in 2016/17
Last season the Turkish official was in charge for the return leg against Serie A outfit Napoli that ended in a 3-1 win for Zidane's side. He was also the man in charge when Madrid secured their place in the Cardiff final against Juventus despite losing 2-1 to Atleticoi Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.
