Eduardo Berizzo back with Sevilla after cancer surgery
The Argentine surprised his players on the field and will be on the touchline, provided everything goes to plan, for the Levante game tonight.
Sevilla were delighted today to announce that Eduardo Berizzo appeared at training to surprise his players ahead of their game against Levante in LaLiga tonight. The Argentine even took care of the tactical work and team talk ahead of the clash.
According to the club. Berizzo went to the team hotel with the players and will be on the touchline for the game at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. That is providing he gets through the day having just undergone surgery for prostate cancer.
Berizzo was operated on for the cancer just a few days after being diagnosed and was discharged just under two weeks ago. It was revealed to his players at half-time of the Liverpool game in which they were losing 3-0. They eventually came back to draw 3-3 and have since booked themselves a date in the last 16 of the competition where they will play Manchester United.
