Chelsea's Alonso in and Morata out as Spain announce squad

Diego Costa returns to the national side but the man that replaced him as Chelsea's first striker, Álvaro Morata, has been left out of Lopetegui's new squad.

Update:
Chelsea's Alonso in and Morata out as Spain announce squad

Dani Parejo, Marcos Alonso and Rodrigo are the new faces being seen in Julen Lopetegui's Spain squad announced on Friday. They will hope to get plenty of pitch time in the upcoming friendlies against Germany (23 March, in Dusseldorf) and Argentina 27 March, at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid). Some surprising exception include the names of Vitolo and Morata.

Sergio Busquets has been left out, unavailable due to an injury sustained in the Champions League match between Barcelona and Chelsea. Along with him, Vitolo and Morata, others to be missing from the list who were included in the previous one are: Bartra, Alberto Moreno, Illarramendi, Luis Alberto, Suso and Callejón.
