PSG coach Unai Emery has confirmed that he will stand down as first team coach of the Parisian outfit come season end.
The Basque coach broke the news speaking in the traditional press conference ahead of the Ligue 1 game against EA Guingamp and his decision brings to an end his two year tenure on the Parc des Princes bench.
"I informed my players and held a meeting with the president of the club Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique and we decided not to carry on together", stated Emery during the session with the media.

Many will point to the Basque coach's inability to triumph on the European stage after being eliminated in the Champions League round of 16 consecutively by Spanish opposition.
