Travelling by car which is the most hassle free option to a point means crossing France, Germany and Poland and a rough estimate suggests that the average car would require 530 euro worth of fuel to make the return trip. Road tolls would also add a further 235 euros to the round trip which in a car shared by four people works out at 191 euro per passenger. This Madrid-Kiev (Kyiv) road trip would take roughly 36 hours to complete.
