Klose returns to Bayern Munich
After hanging up his boots in 2015, the World Cup all-time record scorer has agreed a two year contract to coach Bayern Munich's U-17 team.
Miroslav Klose is back. The Germany legend will take over Bayern Munich's Under-17 team for the 2018-19 season. The Bundesliga champions have announced that the former forward has agreed a two-year contract until 30 June 2020.
This means that Klose returns to the team where he achieved two domestic doubles between 2007 and 2011. "I'm very much looking forward to the task at FC Bayern, and I'll do everything to justify the faith shown in me by the way I coach the young players," said Klose.
Klose, who made 137 appearances and scored 71 goals for Germany, is currently an assistant to national team head coach Joachim Löw.
