The terms of Cristiano Ronaldo's 100-million-euro summer transfer to Juventus are expected to be finalised in a matter of hours, the newspaper Record has claimed. According to a report in the Portuguese daily this morning, the striker will sign a four-year contract with the Serie A champions.

Cristiano to sign on at Juventus until 2022

"A deal is not complete, but an agreement between the parties [involved in the negotiations] will be a reality in the coming hours," says Record, which adds that the 33-year-old will pocket an annual salary of 30 million euros at the Turin club.

Cristiano's mooted switch to Juve is said to have moved significantly closer yesterday after Real president Florentino Pérez and the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, held "emergency talks" over his departure from the Bernabéu, in a meeting initially revealed by the Spanish TV programme 'El Chiringuito de Jugones'.

Cristiano "has now closed the door on Real Madrid"

The meeting between Pérez and Mendes "ran on until the early hours of the morning" before definitive conclusions were reached, Record said, adding that Cristiano "has now closed the door on Real Madrid once and for all."

The publication also reveals that the Bianconeri are to incorporate sponsorship deals with owners Fiat into the star's contract, "to avoid the 30 million euros offered by Juventus putting too much of a strain on the club's finances."
