The self-proclaimed sorcerer behind a bizarre World Cup prediction has changed course, making a fresh claim about the tournament favorite.

After Kane curse, Ghanaian witch doctor turns to Cristiano Ronaldo
“This World Cup belongs to Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.” That is the latest prediction from Ghanaian witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who previously claimed he had placed a curse on Harry Kane before England’s World Cup game against Ghana. The forecast is hardly outlandish, with Portugal widely regarded as one of the favorites to lift the trophy. At the same time, the spiritual healer predicted that Kane’s England will come up just short in the race for the title.
The comments mark a notable shift from his earlier claims surrounding the England captain. Bonsam now says he has lifted the alleged curse placed on the Bayern Munich striker, insisting there is no ill will between them.
“Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a baby whom I will soon name after Harry Kane.”

The Harry Kane curse is over, says Ghanaian witch doctor
The Ghanaian also addressed the supposed spell that attracted worldwide attention before England faced Ghana. According to Bonsam, the matter is now settled, and he no longer wishes Kane any harm.
His latest remarks contrast sharply with his previous insistence that supernatural forces would influence the outcome of England’s game. Instead, he now says his respect for the striker has grown to the point that he plans to name his child after him.
Ghanaian sorcerer apologizes to Turkey over accidental World Cup “curse”
Bonsam also offered an unusual explanation for Turkey’s disappointing World Cup campaign, claiming the team became an unintended victim of his magic.
According to the self-proclaimed witch doctor, an error during a ritual accidentally redirected the spell toward Turkey instead of Ghana’s intended opponent.
“Honestly, it was a huge mistake. I had prepared a special charm to weaken Ghana’s intended opponent at the World Cup, but during the ritual my apprentice slipped while holding the map, and the energy went toward Turkey instead.”
Turkey has yet to win a game at this World Cup, something Bonsam jokingly attributed to the accidental mishap rather than events on the field.
