Update:
Spain's internationals returning in time for US preseason tour
DIARIO AS

Julen Lopetegui's Real Madrid continue adding players to prepare for the upcoming season. The players representing their country at the World Cup will join up with those not involved in Russia over the summer in the coming days ahead of their trip to the US to play the International Champions Cup as Lopetegui continues to implement his new concepts and ideas on the training ground.

At the end of the week, the players who participated in the World Cup and did not manage to make it to the semi-final including Casemiro with Brazil and Spain's internationals, will join up with the squad.

Nacho, Ramos, Asensio, Isco, Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez will return to work with their former coach, but this time in a different setting entirely. It will also be a reunion between Casemiro and Lopetegui, who worked together at Porto.

The only Spanish international who has already joined preseason training is Alvaro Odriozola, who was presented as a los Blancos player last week.

It will just be Raphael Varane and Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic left to join up with their teammates at that point although Kovacic is looking for an exit from the club completely as he wants to be a starter somewhere.

Real Madrid's American preseason

Real Madrid will travel from Barajas to the United States on the 28th where they will begin their American tour in which they will play three games against Manchester United, Juventus and Roma.

They open their US tour with the game against United on August 1st at 02:00 CEST. Four days later (August 5th), they will play Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus even if they won't get the chance to play against their former teammate. On the 8th, they face AS Roma and close the US leg of their tour.

Lopetegui's first official game will take play in Tallinn in Estonai where they play the European Super Cup on August 15th.
