Cristiano Ronaldo has taken advantage of the international break in the Serie A calendar and is enjoying a short vacation in the French Riviera with partner Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Jr.

The Juventus star was given permission by Portuguese coach Fernando Santos to miss Portugal’s clash with Italy in the Uefa Nations League this Monday, and has published an image of himself on Instagram getting some much-needed “Vitamin D” aboard a luxury yacht off the south French coast.

No stranger to Instagram herself, partner Georgina has also posted photos of the couple with Cristiano Junior clearly enjoying their sunshine break on a surf paddle board.

The Instagram “influencer” also delighted her millions of followers with photos of herself aboard the yacht – accompanied with the message: “Live life with those who give you life,” a famous quote of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo – and chancing her luck at the poker machines at one Monaco’s upscale casinos.

Ronaldo ready for Juventus-Sassuolo clash

After visiting Monaco and St. Tropez, Ronaldo will shortly return to Turin to meet up with his Juventus team-mates ahead of their home fixture against Sassuolo on Sunday. After three games, the ex-Real Madrid striker has yet to score for his new club and will no doubt be hoping that the extra dose a Vitamin D he enjoyed the past few days will help him to net his first Serie A goal on Sunday.

While Ronaldo has not scored, he has played his part in Juventus’ three wins from three, which sees them sitting happily at the top of the league table. Sassuolo, meanwhile, are also unbeaten and currently lie in second place with seven points. Roberto De Zerbi’s men managed a surprise victory over Serie A giants Inter Milan on the opening day of the season, before drawing against Cagliari and beating Genoa 5-3.
