Álvaro Morata spoke to reporters from Spanish broadcaster Cuatro at Spain’s training base in Las Rozas on the outskirts of Madrid and discussed the possibility of his Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard moving to Real Madrid.

Morata was asked about Hazard’s comments about a potential move to the European champions and whether he would fit into the current team at Madrid and replied: “You can play him any position and if he has said it that clearly [that he wants to play for Madrid] then that’s the way it is.”

Morata: "If it’s good for Chelsea they will keep that in mind"

The striker was then asked if Hazard’s departure from Chelsea was feasible. “We’ve said that it’s not that he wants to leave Chelsea but if Madrid come in for him, that won’t be an obstacle. The thing is that he has a very good relationship with the club, he’s happy there and it’s not like other cases when a player wants to leave a club at any cost, but if it’s good for Chelsea they will keep that in mind.”
