Spain demand penalty and red card for Pickford's challenge on Rodrigo

Spain's players pleaded with Polish referee Szymon Marciniak for a penalty in the 63rd minute of their Nations League match in Seville when English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford fouled Rodrigo Moreno in the English area. The Spanish striker had robbed Pickford and only had to tap home, but the keeper hauled the Spaniard back before then sliding in to send the ball behind for a corner.

AS resident referee Iturralde González said: "The referee hasn't given a penalty because Rodrigo tries to keep playing. But you can't punish a player's honesty. Not only is it a penalty, it's a red card".
