Real Madrid round-up: Vázquez, Hazard, Levante, Copa, Lopetegui

Real Madrid play Levante at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday afternoon and we have all of your news from los Blancos' world before that game. (Remember: you can check out our Real Madrid round-up from Thursday 18th October here.)

Lucas Vazquez wants more playing time

Real Madrid are suffering in front of goal. And it looks like Lucas Vazquez could be the answer to their woes as he has had the most assists for the club since 2015 and in just a fraction of the minutes that the likes of Toni iKroos has been afforded.

He spoke on Thursday and said, "Of course I want to be playing more often and I just have to keep working hard, make the most of the chances I do get, and hope I start getting more".

The Hazard story continues, but not really

Eden Hazard has not been shy about his desire to move to Real Madrid. He recently declared his desire again but after reports emerged that Real Madird would make a move for him in January, Chelsea have acted. They want to offer him a new contract that would make him the highest paid player in the Premier League.

The player himself has spoken to Sky Sports and says that he doesn't have to move to Real Madrid and would be quite happy to remain at Chelsea for the rest of his career.

Lopetegui positive about season

Ahead of training today, the gaffer took questions from the gathered media where he spoke about Gareth Bale's responsible approach, the value of Isco, and agreeing with Toni Kroos not being Casemiro, among other things.

Here you have it all straight from the horse's mouth.

Levante ticket sales

Friday is the last day you can buy tickets as a Levante fan. There were 100 sold as of today with a small crowd travelling from Levante. They won't, of course, have Borja Mayoral, who has a 'fear clause' in his contract that doesn't let him play against his parent club while on loan.

Levante will train on Friday in Buñol and in the afternoon they will travel via the high-speed AVE to the capital.

Copa in 'Africa'

The Copa del Rey draw was made on Friday morning, and Real Madrid were handed a short trip to the Spanish autonomous city located on the north coast of Africa, to face UD Melilla. AS English brought you the whole draw live and you can find out all there is to know here.
