Luis Suárez spoke to Uruguay Sport 890 and spoke openly about his age and Barcelona's search for his replacmenet. The 31-year-old might not be thinking or retiring anytime soon with his hat-trick against Real Madrid proving he has plenty left to offer but he understands that succession plan is underway at the top of Barça's attack.

"It's normal that Barça would look for a number nine, I'm 31 years old," he said while also saying he wouldn't buy into the talk that he was the "best in the world" after his triple against los Blancos where he stole the show.

He also spoke about the criticism aimed at him with many suggesting he started the season overweight. "When they said that I was fat and out of form it was a game in the Super Cup against Sevilla. I had started training on Tuesday and we played on Saturday. Obviously I was going to be slow and fat after coming home from a month of holidays after the World Cup. Later, you get up to speed."
