Ramos back in full training following injury
Santiago Solari welcomed back Sergio Ramos to full training on Wednesday, as well as international absentees Courtois, Varane, Kroos y Fede Valverde.
Following their absence due to international duty, Belgium’s Thibaut Courtois, France’s Raphael Varane, Germany’s Toni Kroos and Uruguayan Fede Valverde all returned to training with Santiago Solari this Wednesday, three days ahead of Real Madrid’s trip to Estadio Ipurua to face Eibar.
After Tuesday’s physical session, Wednesday’ session was focused on ball work, with a number of drills on passing and possession in which nine players from Castilla (the ‘B’ team) also participated.
Injured players, Nacho, Casemiro and Reguilón, did not take part in the session with their team-mates, and continued with their respective recovery work.
Ramos return
Besides the return of the four aforementioned internationals, the other good news for Solari was the presence of captain Sergio Ramos in the group session, after the defender had trained alone following a groin injury sustained in the Spain-Croatia game last Thursday.
Costa Rican Keylor Navas also played in goal, according to images released from the club, and seemingly his knee problem will not prevent him from being available for Solari this Saturday.
Gareth Bale and Vinicius are the only two players yet to return, following international duty with Wales and Brazil U-20s, respectively.
