Raúl de Tomás, who has scored four goals for Rayo Vallcano so far this season, will not be eligible to play in Saturday's game against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu. De Tomás is on loan at Rayo from Real Madrid and cannot face his parent club because of a clause in his loan contract.

Being without their first choice striker is a big blow to Rayo. On top of the four goals he's contributed this season, he hit 24 during last year's campaign, playing a significant role in helping the team gain promotion back to the top flight. De Tomás has 13 of the 15 games Rayo have played so far in LaLiga - all of which, apart from the last match against Betis, in the starting line-up.

For Saturday's visit to the Bernabéu, Rayo will also be without Gaël Kakuta, Javi Guerra and Lass Bangoura - all of whom remain out injured. The Franjirrojos go into the game with just 10 points to show from 15 outings which has left them second from bottom in the table.
