Modric offers Ballon d'Or to the Real Madrid fans
The Croatian player, who was voted the best player of 2018, raised his trophy aloft at the Bernabéu prior to the game against Rayo Vallecano.
Luka Modric offered his Ballon d'Or 2018 to the Real Madrid fans who were at the Bernabéu to watch the LaLiga game against Rayo Vallecano. The Croatian player made a point of bringing all his team-mates together to celebrate the award as one, in a show of unity.
The midfielder, World Cup runner-up with Croatia this summer past, received the Ballon d'Or on 3 December.
