Real Madrid omit Bale from their training report on Friday

The club left Gareth Bale off the list of injured players with no official word as to whether he trained or not but it can be deduced that he did not.

Real Madrid continue with their secrecy regarding Gareth Bale's injury status. On Friday, the club offered no news on their star attacker after being taken off on Thursday night against Villarreal with an apparent calf injury. The club reported the most recent training session (Friday morning) on their website with no mention of Bale. It has been 15 months since they reported on one of his injuries.

Although they left Bale out of the report, they did mention other players on the injured list with Marcos Llorente, Marco Asensio and Mariano Díaz all recovering from their respective injuries. The striker, Díaz, is back training with the ball though.

No word on Bale from Real Madrid

Bale is a doubt against Real Sociedad and he will undergo furthers tests on Saturday but there was no mention as to whether he trained or not with logic suggesting he didn't after the recent setback.

Training consisted of physical exercises to recover from the strains of the 2-2 draw against Villarreal with Real Sociedad heading south to the Bernabéu on Sunday at 18:30 CET. They wrapped up the session with a short game.
