REAL MADRID

Isco not in the mood to embrace as he avoids Chendo's approach

Isco came on for Vinicius for a few minutes at the end of the win over Alavés at the weekend and club delegate, Miguel Chendo, reached out to him and Isco wasn't in the mood.

As the weeks go by, Isco's situation at Real Madrid remains the same. He is a regular substitute at this stage and it would be a major shock if he was to start a game under Solari with the only hope of minutes coming when Real Madrid have put the game to bed. Reports say Isco will ask for a move in the summer but he still has five months to get through as the mood continues to sour between himself, Solari and the club.

The decisive stage of the season beckons with a Copa del Rey semi-final along with Champions League knockout games and every LaLiga game seeming like a final in their pursuit of Barcelona. Isco was a key figure in Zidane's successful spell down the stretch but it looks increasingly unlikely that the same will happen under Solari.

Images of Solari and Isco crossing paths on the sideline tell the tale as they don't speak or acknowledge each other.

Isco not feeling the love at Real Madrid

After coming on for the last few minutes of the Alavés game on Sunday, Isco rejected the greeting of Miguel Chendo in the stands. The Real Madrid delegate, who played his entire career at the club amassing over 300 appearances, reaches out but Isco is not in the mood after his very brief cameo.

He came on for Vinicius in the 86th minute and he started the attack that led to Mariano's impressive header. After the game, Chendo reached out as the players made their way into the dressing room as he does with all the players but Isco moved out of the way as to avoid the delegate's caress.
