LaLiga has officially confirmed the schedule for matchday 26 in the top flight of Spanish football. Lavished with a full three-weeks notice, and with one of the biggest sporting clashes included, why not get yourself to Madrid for a long weekend of LaLiga indulgence.

El Clásico and much, much more

The headline act of matchday 26 is in no doubt. Barcelona visit the Santiago Bernabéu to face Real Madrid which is the second of three Clásicos in a month (the Copa del Rey semi-final legs either side). They meet on Saturday 2 March at 20:45.

But since you're making the trip to the Spanish capital, it's best to use it to the absolute maximum. On the evening of Friday 1 March, the weekend's fixtures kick off with Rayo Vallecano against Girona at the Estadio de Vallecas, in the south east of Madrid. If by any chance, the stadium sells out, don't fret! A wonderful night's chat from The Spanish Football Podcast is taking place that night in Madrid and will likely compensate for the missed game as Sid Lowe and Phil Kitromilides give you a live run down on all things LaLiga (tickets here).

Then, make sure you delay your return home until Tuesday and get yourself to Butarque on Monday night to see Leganés take on Levante. Three LaLiga games in one weekend, mixed with a capital culture that will have you checking your diary and lingering after every LaLiga tweet, looking for the next opportunity to do it all over again.
