Italian Daniele Orsato set to oversee Man United-PSG clash
The 43-year-old will take charge of affairs at Old Trafford on Tuesday as the Champions League returns. Dutch official Danny Makkelieref will oversee Roma-Porto.
The Champions League makes a return on Tuesday night with two enticing Round of 16 games to welcome the competition back as AS Roma face FC Porto and a Neymar-less Paris Saint-Germain travel to the North of England to face in-form Manchester United.
UEFA have now confirmed the two match officials for each contest with Italian referee assigned to the attractive contest at Old Trafford. The Vicenza born official has overseen many games in the Champions League group stages and was part of the FIFA officiating team at the 2018 Russian World Cup where he was appointed as VAR referee for the match between Croatia and Denmark.
Eredivisie regular Danny Makkelie will be on duty at the Stadio Olimpico for the Round of 16 clash from the Eternal City as Portuguese table toppers travel to face an erratic Roma side.
