Despite links with Madrid, Quintero renews with River Plate
The Colombian player penned a new deal with the Buenos Aires based outfit that will see him wear the iconic red sash shirt through to 2022.

After loan spells with Rennes (France) and Independiente Medellín in his native Colombia, "Juanfer" moved to Buenos Aires in January 2018.
The new deal will see Quintero remain with "Los Millionarios" through to 2022 with the player holding a buy-out clause of 30 million dollars.

The play-maker has worn the River shirt in 42 games and has already bagged one Supercopa Argentina and a Copa Libertadores with the Nuñez based outfit.
