Ince: "I don't think Pogba will be at United next season"
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince maintained that 'It’s always hard when Real Madrid come knocking'.
As the current season winds to a close, speculation regarding new signings abounds for the 2019/20 campaign with many UK based analysts now expecting Paul Pogba to move to Real Madrid.
Former Red Devil, Paul Ince is also not convinced that the French midfielder will be at Old Trafford next season stating: "The main culprit of that, I believe, is Paul Pogba. Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer) needs to convince him that he’s going to build the team around him going forwards if he wants him to stay. Honestly, I don’t think Pogba will be at Old Trafford next season", affirmed Ince in the Manchester Evening News.
Despite Pogba's claims to want to stay in Manchester, Ince feels that the French player has never settled after his return to the English club in 2016 following the move from Juventus (for a fee of 120 million euro. "It’s always hard when Real Madrid come knocking, but I’m not sure Pogba’s ever settled at United since he came back, and a move could be on the cards. It’s Ole’s job to do some convincing now, convince players like Pogba and David de Gea that they’re better off at Old Trafford."
