Toni Kroos misses training ahead of Leganés trip
The German midfielder missed today's training session this morning, as were Vinicius, Courtois and Ramos. The club is expected to explain his absence.
The Real Madrid squad were taken through their final training session ahead of tomorrow's meeting with Leganés and it was surprising that Toni Kroos was not seen out on the practices pitches in Valdebebas. The club has yet to give an explanation as to why the German midfielder was absent but a statement is expected before Zidane gives his press conference.
Changes to the starting XI
It means that Kroos is certain to miss tomorrow night's game at Leganés. Also unavailable for today's session were Courtois, Ramos and Vinicius - all of whom are ruled out of Monday's match. Kroos' absence will present an opportunity to either Isco, Ceballos or Fede Valverde, one of whom will start against the Pepineros.
Tomorrow's game at Butarque will be Zidane's fifth in charge since he returned to the Madrid job. So far, he has overseen victories against Celta, Huesca and Eibar, and his only defeat in the league has been against Valencia at Mestalla. Madrid's objective is to finish the season in second - they trail Atlético by five points.
