Real Madrid hoping to bank €300M from summer sales

Eight players are facing the exit door at the Santiago Bernabéu, with the club hoping to generate over 300 million euros to facilitate new signings.

Real Madrid are hoping to generate transfer fees of over 300 million euros with the objective of accruing enough income to be afford the new summer acquisitions. The intention is for the club to have the bulk of the transfer business concluded before Zidane takes his 2019-20 squad on the pre-season tour, which will take place once again in Montreal (as it did in 2016). 

Gareth Bale is key in the list of players that the club is anxious to offload with a return to the Premier League the likely destination for the Welsh striker currently valued by Transfermarkt at 70 million euros. Bale tops a list of up to eight players that the LaLiga club are hoping to sell during the transfer window.

James Rodríguez is another player which Real Madrid hope boost the income levels with his loan deal with Bayern Munich expiring on June 30th and hopes are that 60 million euros are generated in selling the Colombian.

Mateo Kovacic is currently on loan with Chelsea and the SW6 club face a FIFA transfer ban this summer. It's hoped that the Croatian midfielder generates a fee of 50 million from would be suitors.  

Local talent

Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos are hoped to generate 40 million a piece with strikers Mariano and Borja Mayoral expected to generate sales of 20 and 12 million euros respectively. 

Goalkeeper Keylor Navas has also been told he can leave the Bernabéu outfit with the Costa Rican already being linked with a move to Portuguese giants FC Porto with ten million euros expected to be generated from his sale. 312 million euros is the objective that has been earmarked by the Real Madrid financial departments as the sporting directors plot the acquisitions that will be key in Zidane moving the side forward after the clubs "annus horribilis" that was the 2018-19 season.
