Eriksen family house hunting in Madrid ahead of Real move
Reports in Denmark say plans are being made for the move, with an agreement between Real Madrid and the Spurs midfielder already in place.
Paul Pogba has been the priority midfield addition for Zinedine Zidane since he returned to Real Madrid and started planning his much required revolution. That said, the LaLiga giants are also very keen on Tottenham Hotspur's talented Dane, Christian Eriksen, and reports in his homelands state that the player's family have already begun their search for a new place to live in the Spanish capital.
Eriksen move in motion
The daily newspaper in Denmark, Fyens, shared their information about the house-hunting expedition as the efforts at the Santiago Bernabéu to make the transfer happen continue. The 27-year old is an attractive option to Los Blancos, not only because of the talent he can add to the team, but also the likely price that he could be available at, and the professional attitude that he has demonstrated throughout his career to date.
Spurs owner Daniel Levy has proven himself to be a tough negotiator in these matters but, with the player only having a year remaining on his contract the are likely limits to how much can be asked for, with the London club not wanting to lose him for nothing in 12 months.
With the player making it clear about what his desired intentions are and, as we reported, an agreement between him and the 13-time European champions having been in place for some time, it is now down to the two clubs to make it a reality. Hopefully the family Eriksen have coped with the extremely high temperatures that have been seen across central Spain.
