Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the Goal of the Week

Not everything is grey for LA Galaxy captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as his fantastic performance during El Trafico earned him the MLS Player of the Week award as well as the Goal of the Week.

Ibrahimovic's first goal against LAFC, a goal that tied the game for LA Galaxy, was awarded GOTW over Jozy Altidore's backheel strike.

The Swedish Lion had an outstanding night against crosstown rivals, netting a perfect left, right, and headed hat-trick to emphasize who owns the city of Los Angeles.

The Goal of the Week

Zlatan's volley got 32.01% of the vote over Altidore's 27.95% and Marco Fabian who finished third with 18.69%. They were followed by Gustavo Bou and Mauro Manotas who gained 12.97 and 8.38% of the vote respectively.
