Atlanta United striker, Josef Martinez has woken up, with his scoring share increasing significantly in the last MLS weeks, setting him only four goals behind LAFC captain, Carlos Vela who leads the MLS scoring table. Martinez's current form has earned him the MLS Player of the Month award.
His form in the last month is outstanding, and in five games he managed to add seven goals, more, just three less than what he managed to score in first 14 games of the season.
Martínez is chasing a new record, as he has accumulated nine consecutive matches with his name on the scoreboard, and in his next two meetings, he could break the ten-games-in-a-row record that belongs to Diego Valeri.
