Barça rampant against Betis as Griezmann steals the show

That was an incredible finish. Betis all of a sudden struggling massively to get back into this game.

Corner with a shout for handball albeit a very tame one. Loren the culprit but it hit his chest. Cross comes in then and it's way over Piqué's head at the back post.
Loren breaks, or tries to. Semedo stops him and wins the ball back cleanly. Sergi Roberto with the strike on the break but it's deflected over for a corner.

Barcelona dispossess Canales and the fans ge behind them! They try to cheer them on. That early good start seemed to have ended and while they have plenty of the ball, they're not creating chances anymore.

Good lord! What a lovely move involving about five players. Real one-touch football with a number of lovely flicks including Rafinha, Griezmann and Alba. They can't get a shot away but they've looked good early.
Griezmann curls one just wide now. Took a knock of Sidnei's shin on the way out. Corner!
They haven't missed Messi or Suárez too much. Some nice pressure on Betis but no goals yet.

Interesting too from Valverde that he starts Busquets and De Jong. He will really try to control this game from there with no Messi and Suárez to keep the Betis defenders occupied.
Fekir gets his second start after playing against Valladolid last weekend. They had Robles sent off so we didn't really get to see the real Betis. They'll be hoping for no red cards early tonight.
Barcelona are stuck for forwards and they might have run out of patience with Dembélé. A move for the Brazilian that includes Dembélé might work to unlock the deal.
Dani Martin, the youngster Betis bought from Sporting Gijon, starts with Joel Robles suspended. He was sent of for hauling down Sandro last weekend. Borja Iglesias is also out with an ankle injury as Loren - goalscorer last week - gets the start.

So it remains a 4-3-3 for Valverde, who leaves 16-year-old Fati on the bench! That would have been an incredible story if he started. We will still might see him but it will have to be in a substitute's role.

Barcelona also missing Ousmane Dembele after the debacle that ensued following the Bilbao game. Luis Suárez is out after suffering injury in the first half of that game. And Neymar still plays for PSG.
Rafinha was suffering from stomach issues too but he should be fine. Griezmann will start and maybe Carles Perez beside them in attack.

He suffered a calf injury on his first day back training.
He missed the game against Athletic Bilbao.
He returned training fully but didn't feel comfortable.
Ernesto Valverde cautioned that they would take their time with him.
Messi missed training on Saturday ahead of the game and was not mentioned in the squad today.
Barcelona host Betis in the unusual environs of the relegation zone and are without star names with last season's 4-3 loss in the background.
