Sergio Ramos: "Madrid lose out because of Clásico kick-off time"
Real Madrid's captain spoke about Barcelona having over a day longer to rest before the rescheduled Clásico meeting at Camp Nou on 18 December.
Sergio Ramos faced reporters on Thursday to look ahead to Spain's meeting with Malta - their penultimate Euro 2020 qualifier with their place in next summer's finals already in the bag.
Olympic Games: "Representing Spain at the Olympics would be amazing - not just for me but I think for Piqué and all the rest of our internationals. But the Games are a long way off and we'll see what happens. For me it would be a real thrill because I've never been lucky enough to take part in the Olympics and of course, I'd love to".
Ramos salutes legend El Guaje Villa
David Villa hanging up his boots: "Villa was one of the greats and I send him a big hug. He's a football legend. We have kept in touch and I congratulate him for the career he's had, I take my hat off to him".
Real Madrid with less time to rest before El Clásico. "At the end of the day, it's Real Madrid who will be the ones who lose out. We should play the same day as Barça and have the same amount of rest as them. Even so, we'll be up for it and going out to win the game".

Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia: "We're not the ones who have decided where the Super cup will be played. We, the players, can't do anything about it. But Rubiales has said that we should try to make it an occasion for change, and if that happens then we will be very proud. The players can't decide where we play - not with Federation nor with LaLiga, with the national teams or with our clubs".
Balancing national team and club commitments: "The season is long, I hope I can avoid injury. But playing for the national team is something you can't turn down. While I am fit, I'll continue giving everything I have to give with Spain and Madrid".
Bale with Wales: "Whatever I or anyone else says about Bale is only going to hit the headlines and cause negativity. It's a club matter. For me personally, I'm delighted that he's back playing because that means he is now able to play for Madrid. The same can be said for James. We'll see, time will tell as they say...".
The future: "I haven't set myself a limit to extend my career. While I feel good I'll continue playing. I'd like to still be playing when the next World Cup comes around, if I can avoid any injuries, and I'd like to win something again with the national team because I'm still hungry to win more trophies".
