Zidane: "Vinicius will not go out on loan in January"

Zinedine Zidane attended the media this afternoon to preview Real Madrid's league meeting with Alavés at Medizorroza. The coach also spoke at length about the situation concerning Vinicius, who has been exlcuded from the squad in recent weeks..

How is the team shaping up going into tomorrow's game? "We know the team we will be playing against, and we know they have had a great start to the campaign. The next match is always the most important one and I am sure that we are in for a difficult game at a tough ground. No doubt about it. We have to be ready and focused from the first minute to the last".

Vinicius and the chance he could go out on loan: "No, he's not leaving, he's staying here with us, he's a member of the squad. We have 25 or 26 players. He hasn't played much lately but we are going to need him. Now isn't the right moment but that could change from one day to the next and he has a contribution to make to the team. He's staying, I can tell you that for sure".

Benzema, not in the list of the 50  best players of the year: "Every madridista is proud of what he does for us. We're proud of him and all of our players. All we want is for him to give his best in every game - he does that, which is why the fans are so happy with him. That's all we ask for. Everything else doesn't depend on us so I can't really comment".

Ballon d'Or: "I already have the best, I always say it - because it's true. All of the players who come here are the best, it's the biggest club in the world. They are all the best, I can single one out".

¿Cómo se gestiona la irrupción de Valverde? "Modric es Modric y nada va a cambiar. Ahora llega Fede, quiere hacerlo bien y nada más. Es un dolor de cabeza para mí, pero no cambia nada. El marrón es el mío para elegir cuando hay un partido. Ellos está bien y enchufados. Y ellos saben que mi filosofía no va a cambiar. No estamos aquí para ganar un partido, estamos aquí para ganar cosas. Voy a contar con todos y ellos lo saben".

¿Cree que se va a disputar el Clásico el 18-D? "Contamos con jugar, pero luego veremos si se puede o no. El 18 tenemos que estar allí para jugar".

Hazard y su lesión: "No puedo decir nada de plazos, un golpe fuerte y una pequeña torsión, pero no es nada importante. Es poca cosa y veremos la semana que viene si ganamos algo y puede estar".

Silbidos a Bale: "Lo más importante es estar ahí con él. Tenemos un equipo importante y cada uno aporta el cariño que necesita el jugador. Sabemos que ellos son lo más importante. Estamos con Gareth y creo que la gente también. Creo que eso no debe influir mucho en el juego, es parte de la vida un futbolista".

Brahim y Mariano, posibles salidas: "Lo veremos en enero. Es verdad que han jugado muy poco, pero hasta enero pueden pasar cosas y entonces veremos sus casos. De momento, cuentos con ellos y entrenan bien por si les necesitamos".

¿Por qué no es el momento de Vinicius? "Lo único es que no está jugando. No es su momento en el sentido que hay otro que entra en la lista y juega, como el caso de Rodrygo. Luego, cuando tienes 26 jugadores, qué te voy a explicar. Hay cuatro, cinco o seis jugadores fuera de la lista. Últimamente son tres, cuatro o cinco partidos que están fuera, pero veremos mañana. Tiene que estar preparado cuando le toque".

¿A usted le gustaba el Vinicius de la temporada pasada? ¿Qué ha cambiado desde entonces? "Lo hablé en su momento. Lo que ha cambiado es que está Hazard y Rodrygo de momento y lo están haciendo bien. Él también lo está haciendo bien, se entrena bien. El año pasado lo hizo bien, lo que quiere es intentar hacerlo bien cuando le toca. Lo único es que hay otros jugadores importantes y tengo que elegir. Es mi función y eso no va a cambiar".
