"Cristiano Ronaldo, you're almost like me," jokes Materazzi
Former Inter Milan and Italy defender Marco Materazzi congratulated the Juventus forward for his goal, but reminded him of his own leaping header.
Following the gravity-defying headed goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, one that clinched all three points for Juventus against Sampdoria, former Inter Milan star Marco Materazzi has reminded him that he still didn't reach the heights of the defender.

The praise, amid some astonishment, rolled in for the Portuguese forward, and Materazzi followed suit. "Well done Air CR7," he posted on Instagram, in reference to the leaping more often associated with Michael Jordan.
He then added "Almost like me," along with the pictures side-by-side of the two players' measured jumps, with the Italian's head topping out at 2.7 metres compared with Ronaldo's 2.56 when he made contact.
Materazzi finished his message with a simple, "Congratulations for the goal."
