Barcelona set for Louie Barry transfer windfall
English media outlets are reporting that Aston Villa are poised to pay three million euro for the promising 16-year-old player.
A possible move for Barça's 16-year-old Louie Barry to Aston Villa could deliver a decent profit for the Catalan club who bought the player for just over 250,000 € last July from West Brom with Villa reported to pay three million euro for the young striker.
Should the move go ahead as suggested via the English press, "The Baggies" plan to take the matter to FIFA after the player decided against staying with the Midlands outfit and opted to leave the WBA academy for the stipulated FIFA fee of 261,000 € in July 2019. It's also reported that Barcelona have yet to pay the full fee to the English side for Barry's move.
Barry's time in the Catalan capital has been discreet with the striker participating in three UEFA Youth League games for the "culés" and providing an assist in a 2-3 loss to Slavia Prague was his most noted contribution.
