Real Madrid suffered a major injury blow this weekend after it was confirmed that Eden Hazard faces another lengthy lay-off after sustaining renewed damage to his right ankle.

Hazard suffers distal fibula fracture in Levante defeat

In only his second appearance since returning from the injury that had kept him out since late November, Hazard limped out of Madrid's LaLiga defeat to Levante on Saturday, before tests revealed that he had suffered a distal fibula fracture.

In their statement confirming the injury, Madrid did not specify how long the Belgian will be out for, but it is thought that his recovery will take at least eight weeks.

Here are Real Madrid's fixtures over the next two months:

26 February: Real Madrid vs Manchester City, Champions League last-16 first leg

1 March: Real Madrid vs Barcelona, LaLiga

8 March: Real Betis vs Real Madrid, LaLiga

13 March: Real Madrid vs Eibar, LaLiga

17 March: Manchester City vs Real Madrid, Champions League last-16 second leg

20/21/22 March: Real Madrid vs Valencia, LaLiga

3/4/5 April: Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid, LaLiga

7/8 April: Champions League quarter-final first leg*

10/11/12 April: Real Madrid vs Real Mallorca, LaLiga

14/15 April: Champions League quarter-final second leg*

21/22/23 April: Espanyol vs Real Madrid, LaLiga

*If Real Madrid qualify

Race against time to make potential Champions League semi

If Real Madrid reach the Champions League semi-finals, Hazard would likely be touch and go for at least the first leg on 28/29 April, while the LaLiga clash with Getafe on 24/25/26 April may well also come too soon.
