Update:
Arteta's wife explains last few days after coronavirus scare

The coronavirus has spread around the world, and in Europe in particular, but one of the first positive cases in England was that of Mikel Arteta, the arsenal manager. His wife, Lorena Bernal, took to social media to explain how they have been living through the last couple of days after the news.

A message of calm but with responaibility

Bernal does not typically do videos on her social media account but she did on this occasion and told her followers to be "calm, but we need to be responsible."

Firstly, she explain how Arteta was diagnosed and how he was when he found out. "Mikel has symptoms of a virus," she said. "Honestly, if you didn't know about the coronavirus, you would just think it was any other common, normal virus."

"The symptoms that he has never stopped him from going to work," she continued. "He has a bit of a fever, never higher than 38 degrees, pain in his head, he felt weak but he is good. He has been eating and living normally."

Fear when she heard the news

At first, she was not afraid but when she started getting lots of messages about the virus, she did get worried. "I was perfectly fine, but when the news came out, they started calling me and people alarming me because my husband had coronavirus. 'Oh my god,' I thought, my husband has this virus and I could have it too and my kids. I started to show symptoms but it was just because of this, I had gotten a fright."

She says that it's a normal virus and her message might be one that helps millions of people in Spain and might get worried when they hear about it or think they might be positive. She likened it to chicken pox and says some people show worse symptoms than others.
