Confirmed UK coronavirus cases
As of 03:45 BST (04:45 CEST) on Tuesday 31 March, there had been 22,453 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK, with 1,411 deaths in total. A total of 171 individuals have officially recovered from Covid-19 after contracting the disease.

Worldwide coronavirus cases
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide at the above time stood at 784,716. In all, 37,686 people have died from Covid-19, while 165,370 have recovered from the disease.
