Luka Jovic on radar of many major European clubs
Despite a disappointing season with Real Madrid, the Serbian striker is on the wanted list of club such as AC Milan, Napoli, Monaco...
Luka Jovic's first season with Real Madrid will not go down in the club's history as one to remember and despite a lacklustre debut campaign in the Spanish capital, the league champions seem ready to offer the Serbain international another opportunity despite interest in his services from the likes of Napoli, AC Milan and Monaco.
The striker's agent Fali Ramadani was in both Naples and Milan last week where he met AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara to discuss the situation concerning Jovic.
The appointment of former Bayern and Eintracht manager Niko Kovac at AS Monaco has apparently seen the new manager requesting the acquisition of Jovic as one of his first requests with the forward enjoying a productive spell under the Croatian manager when at Eintracht Frankfurt together.
The Serbian striker only played for 799 minutes this season in the Real Madrid shirt and failed to impress after costing the Spanish side 60 million euro last summer becoming the seventh most expensive player in the club's history.
Failure to adapt
The player struggled to learn basic Spanish and his reserved character were instrumental in his failure to adapt to the Spanish capital.
The striker also stepped out of line during the confinement period in returning to Belgrade where he mysteriously fractured his foot. He was also forced to miss two LaLiga games after a close friend tested positive for Covid-19 and the forward was forced to undergo a two week confinement period as a result missing the games against Alavés and Granada.
Despite the poor season, Real Madrid seem set to offer the 22-year-old another roll of the dice at the Bernabéu.
