EA Sports have confirmed that the new version of the popular game will be accompanied by a Ultimate Team version web app where a range of playing aspects can be managed.

The new eagerly awaited EA Sports FIFA 21 will launch worldwide on 9 October, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For those who have ordered the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition then the game will be playable as of 6 October.

New game, new web app

With the launch of FIFA 21, EA Sports have confirmed that the global launch date will be preceded by the release of a new FIFA 21 (FUT 21) web app.

The FIFA 21 Web App is the final big landmark event in the pre-launch build-up where players can access their Ultimate Team for the first time.

Release date and app features

Via the app, players will be able to customise their stadiums, swap players, open new packs, share teams and participate in a series of FUT events via the app.

It has been confirmed by a number of sources that the FUT 21 Web App release date will be Wednesday 30th September 2020 at 19:00 (CEST), that's 18:00 in the UK.

The FIFA 21 web app will be free to download and will be available for iOS devices through the App Store. It’s also set to be available for Android devices through Google Play Store.
