Kanté-Lampard fallout could bring French star closer to Real Madrid - Le Parisien

A dispute between Frank Lampard and N'Golo Kante could prompt the Frenchman to leave Chelsea in the summer, with Real Madrid his dream destination, according to Le Parisien.

It seems that a wedding may be the root cause of a fallout between Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and coach Frank Lampard, which could end up bringing the player closer to Real Madrid, according to reports in France.

Kante had reportedly asked Lampard for time off training to attend a friend’s wedding. But the Chelsea boss refused his request – something which the 29-year-old midfielder has struggled to accept, according to Le Parisien.

The wedding issue has only poured more cold water on an already frosty relationship between Kanté and Lampard – a situation which could prompt his exit in next summer, reports the French outlet.

Kante’s dream is to play for Real Madrid, says Le Parisien

“Happy with Les Bleus, not so much with his club,” claims Le Parisien, highlighting that Real Madrid will be best positioned to sign him should he decide to leave Stamford Bridge.

The French media also recalled the interest of Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte, his former Chelsea coach who pushed for the Serie A club to sign him in the summer. However Kante felt that it was not the time to leave and his objective now is to take stock and focus on having a good season at Chelsea.

The Italian club will remain on the list of possible destinations for the player. However, according to Le Parisien, his dream is to play for Real Madrid under the command of Zinedine Zidane.
