Cristiano shows off new close-crop haircut during Covid-19 quarantine
The Portuguese star surprised his followers on social media with a radical new look, and showed off his lean physique while he recovers from Covid-19.
Cristiano Ronaldo continues in confinement while he recovers from Covid-19 after testing positive while on international duty with Portugal recently. The player, who is asymptomatic, has been spending his days soaking up the sun, enjoying his private pool, sauna and keeping himself in shape. In one of the more recent videos, he was shown on an exercise bike, smiling as he happily cycled away to the song Te amo (trad. 'I love you') by the group Calema.
Cristiano keeping fit in quarantine
One of the talking points among his followers on social media was his new look - a closely-cropped haircut which he had done while in self-isolation. "Success in life is not measured by what you have achieved but by the obstacles that you overcome," he wrote, in Spanish, in a caption accompanying the video. Cristiano has only a few more days to go in quarantine before he can return to training with Juventus, in the meantime, he has been keeping himself fit.
Barcelona in town next week
The Juve No.7 missed the team's opening Champions League fixture against Dynamo Kiev but should be available for the Matchday 2 meeting with old foes Barcelona in Turin next week.
