Zidane names Real Madrid squad for Athletic Bilbao visit
After the massively important win over neighbours Atlético, the French coach is looking to build some momentum as the Basques travel to the capital.
Zinedine Zidane has called up 20 players for Real Madrid midweek clash with Athletic Bilbao. The game kicks off at 22:00 CET on Tuesday 15 December at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano and, as always, we’ll be bringing you all the action live on AS English.
Madrid looking to build momentum against Bilbao
The French coach has called up all the players he had available. Casemiro, currently on a cumulative yellow card suspension, is missing along with the injured Odegaard, Hazard, Jovic and Mariano. It’s likely that Zidane will name the same side that defeated Atlético Madrid on Saturday with only the Brazilian needing to be replaced.
