Omar Al Somah receives precious gift from Cristiano Ronaldo

The Ahly Jeddah star posted his picture with a signed shirt of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who Al Somah sees as an example of the complete footballer.

Ahly Jeddah Syrian talisman Omar Al Somah received a precious gift from Juventus and former Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as he posted a picture on his official Instagram account holding a signed shirt of the iconic Portuguese goalscorer.

Al Somah who looks up to Ronaldo, considering him as his role-model, wrote a caption on the picture giving credit to Ronaldo and thanking him for the present: "Everyone in their field has a person who they see as a role model, and for me, Cristiano Ronaldo is the model for a complete player. Thank you, Cristiano".

Al Somah has grown into one of the most important players in the history of Ahly Jeddah and Saudi pro league since he joined the Saudi outfit in 2014, with his ability and persistent form.

The set pieces expert led his team in the last round of Saudi league to a crucial win over Al Ra'ed with a last-minute free-kick he took magnificently to secure his team an important three points in the title race.

The Syrian goal machine has also recently become the all-time record goalscorer of the Saudi Arabian league when he netted his 127th goal in the competition against Al-Fateh in the ninth matchday of the Saudi pro league, breaking the previous record set by Nasser Al-Shamrani.
